Hi I'm Kamil, a second year software development student at SETU Waterford. I love programming and made this page because I wanted to show off some of my past work. I've an interest in many fields of computing, with my favourites right now being working on backend, data, AI and game development, however thanks to my course I have a wide range of skills. Here is a quick rundown of the projects I've worked on.
Projects
SETUfy (Year 2 Semester 2)
Kotlin, IntelliJ, Jetpack Compose
SETUfy is a desktop application written in kotlin. It allows the user to browse through, like and listen to a variety of songs and sound effects.
Sorting Searching App (Year 2 Semester 2)
Kotlin, IntelliJ, Jetpack Compose
A desktop application written in kotlin. We made it to learn about different sorting and searching algorithms. It allows the user to generate random data and either sort it with one of the algorithms or search for an input value.
Custom Structures App (Year 2 Semester 2)
Kotlin, IntelliJ, Jetpack Compose
A desktop application written in kotlin. We made it to learn about different data structures. It lets the user perform different functions like adding or removing elements.
Airline Database (Year 2 Semester 2)
SQL, MySQL
A database written in SQL. There were 2 scripts, 1 to create and populate the tables and another for different useful queries to interact with the data. There were also custom users made with different permissions.
PokeList App (Year 2 Semester 2)
HTML, CSS, Javascript, Glitch, Express.js, Handlebars
A web app made using Express.js on Glitch. The main functionality is letting the user create different lists of their favourite pokemon and see their statistics. The user can have multiple lists and each list can hold multiple pokemon and both can be updated and deleted. It also allows users to make an account to store their personal lists.
